3 Day Hands-On Pump Training (Denver, CO)

Join us for 3 days of hands-on pump training at our Hydro Rocky Mountain facility in Denver, CO. This seminar will include a hybrid of classroom training in pump fundamentals, inspection, and rebuilding techniques with hands-on modules including between bearings and overhung single stage pumps, a vertical pump, and a multistage split case pump. A shop module will highlight failure modes and case studies from our experienced field service team.

Full Day Pump Training- Atlanta (In-Person)

Join Hydro South for a full day of pump training, including both hands-on and classroom learning.

We will focus on the engineered repair of pumps, including pump fundamentals and best-in-class practices for start-up and maintenance.

This course is designed for maintenance supervisors and foremen, reliability engineers, system engineers, process design engineers, and anyone else who is involved with the selection, improvement, operation, or maintenance of pumping systems.

Six CEU credits will be provided for the state of Georgia. Certificates will be provided upon completion.

Taming the Bad Actors Seminar- Chicago (In-Person)

Presented by Bob Jennings, Taming the Bad Actors is a 1-day course designed to help you identify the root causes of failures and improve the performance of your pump and pumping systems.

Attendees to the one-day course will gain valuable new skills, including:
  • The principles of operation of centrifugal pumps
  • How the centrifugal pump interacts with the pumping system
  • How to identify system problems that occur when operating pumps off BEP, including cavitation, suction recirculation, discharge recirculation
  • How to identify root cause failures
  • How to identify and implement basic performance improvement opportunities, including the methods and means available for increasing pump reliability and efficiency
